Tilapia

Ingredients

  • Fresh or Frozen Tilapia (either works I used frozen)

  • Lemon Zest

  • Lemon Juice

  • Butter

  • Olive Oil

  • Fresh Garlic Minced

  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Pepper

  • 1 Tablespoon Old bay

  • 1 Tablespoon Onion powder

  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic powder

  • 1/2 Tablespoon Garlic salt

  • 1 Tablespoon Pepper

  • A pinch of red chili flakes

  • A pinch of salt

  • 1/2 Tablespoon Slap Ya Mama (if you want it more spicy; if not, skip this.)

  • A pinch of Oregano

Instructions

*If you have frozen Tilapia, please unthaw it before starting these steps.

1. Pat your fish dry so the oil and seasoning stick.

2. Rub fish with olive oil.

3. Mix all seasonings in a bowl, then gently rub the seasoning into both sides of the fish.

4. Heat and coat a non-stick pan with olive oil

5. Melt about 1 tablespoon of butter

6. Add about 1 tablespoon minced garlic

7. Add 1/2 of squeezed lemon juice

8. Cook fish for 4-6 minutes on medium/high heat on each side

9. Top with lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano (and if you want extra salt and some seasoning from the pan)
